I am trained in all levels of Deep Brain Reorienting Therapy (DBR)( www.DeepBrainReorienting.com ) + Deep Brain Reorienting Alexander Technique Somatic Interweaves by Martin Warner (DBR+AT). I have completed the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) Certification (https://integratedlistening.com/products/ssp-safe-sound-protocol/). Certified EMDR Therapist & Approved Consultant (www.emdria.org). ASCH Basic and Intermediate trained in Clinical Hypnosis. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level 1 Graduate. My theoretical approach is tailored to fit individual needs. I utilize DBR, DBR+AT, EMDR, Clinical Hypnosis, Ego State Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, somatic/body centered, EMDR Early Trauma Approach and cognitive behavioral models, which look at the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Concepts from other theoretical perspectives are integrated as appropriate. I facilitate the client in the discovery of their own personal resolutions. My style of counseling is focused on self-exploration and increasing an individual's level of understanding surrounding their current life circumstances, and their own behaviors and reactions to those situations. I have a desire to understand each client, and utilize my therapeutic skills and knowledge of psychology and human behavior to facilitate growth.
I have extensive training and skills working trauma survivors, including early attachment trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, anxiety, depression, as well as with narcissistic abuse survivors and adult children of narcissist or alcohol abuse ACON ACOA. I accommodate any religious background as well as atheist, agnostic, and non-religious clients.
