Christina is a Cognitive Behavior Therapist and currently receiving training in Interpersonal Neurobiology from the Mindsight Institute. She is dedicated to helping her clients find peace with their past hurts, joy & wisdom in their current circumstances and gain tools to pursue their full potential.
Christina is skilled in working with couples and families in order to create harmony, accountability, understanding and effective communication. Christina provides parenting counseling / training using the Love & Logic program and couples counseling using the Prepare-Enrich program. She can also provide counseling for couples preparing to adopt or foster using the new Prepare-Enrich Adoption / Foster Version.
Christina understands each person and/or family is unique and therapy must be tailored around personalities, environmental factors, the presenting problems, and therapeutic goals. She also uses a holistic approach that will focus on every aspect of life: emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, environmental, and relational components.
Christina Ketchum has been married for over 11 years and has 3 beautiful children ages 4, 6 and 8. Her oldest son is diagnosed with Autism and her youngest son is diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) therefore she is well-educated on communication disorders. She earned a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Texas at Arlington and holds a clinical license in the state of Texas. Christina is also recognized as a board approved supervisor and is passionate about training the next generation of healing professionals.
Christina is friendly, respectful, encouraging, genuine, non-judging, emotionally engaged and is very comfortable discussing all life issues.
