FLEET COUNSELING SERVICES Provides Counseling, Clinical Supervision, Consultations, Speaking and Training for adults eighteen through seniors, treating symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma PTSD, parenting support, and co-occurring medical conditions using best practices and highest standard of care.
Julie provides outpatient therapy for individuals, couples and groups and has extensive experience helping clients who are confronting the challenges of mental health issues. Over the years, Julie has gained a solid reputation as one of the best in her field. She is an active mentor and supervises registered interns on their path to Florida licensure. Additionally, Julie's service extends as a board member on the University of Central Florida Advisory Committee. Her work as the Clinical Program Manager and Mental Health Supervisor at the Outlook Clinic, a non-profit community mental health agency with Advent Health for over thirteen years, has earned recognition and awards from NASW, Central Florida Unit, and the University of Central Florida. Underscoring the opportunity to have a significant impact on both patients, the community, rising therapists and the social work field, has been one of many rewarding experiences. Julie trained at Florida State University and the Orlando Naval Training Base Family Services Center in 1992.
