With every new sunrise comes a new opportunity for healing and growth. I believe that we all have the power within us to live a fulfilling, balanced and authentic life. At times we are able to accomplish this naturally and without limitation and, at other times, life brings us to struggles, changes and insecurities that make this balance harder to maintain. Using a holistic approach, I am passionate about providing a safe, respectful and compassionate place for you to regain or maintain overall wellness and to reach your goals.
I work from a client-centered, post modern perspective that integrates multiple counseling theories to best support you. The techniques used may be incorporated from the theoretical perspectives of Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Systems Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy, among others that may be helpful to meet your needs.
I understand that schedules can be hectic and life can provide barriers, therefore I offer counseling in multiple formats, including online therapy via Skype, outdoor therapy in the form of walking, hiking, cross-country skiing or simply sitting amongst nature and traditional in-office counseling sessions.
