A Licensed Professional Counselor and Doctoral Candidate studying Counselor Education and Supervision and owner of Synergy Counseling Services, LLC, Jenae combines her personality, advocacy, clinical, and educational experiences to help clients achieve their goals. Jenae has worked with children and adults of diverse backgrounds who have experienced trauma, family changes (i.e. birth, separation, divorce), ADHD, chronic illness and diseases, job loss, learning disabilities, relational issues, grief and loss, and domestic violence. Jenae views counseling as a partnership with the client to draw on their strengths through the healing process towards a happy and satisfying quality of life.
Jenae is passionate about systematically addressing issues of marginalization many clients experience including those relative to children, the LGBT population, racial and ethnic minorities, and women.
Jenae is a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) certified to provide telemental health services in the state of Virginia.
