I am originally from Upstate New York where I earned a BA degree in Psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Utica after spending a year living in Taiwan and traveling throughout Asia. I moved to California where I lived in the San Francisco Bay area then Los Angeles pursuing an acting and directing career in film and television. I earned an MA degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in 2008, moved to Raleigh shortly afterwards, and then completed an MS degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in crisis and trauma, from Walden University.
