It’s important to understand that therapy cannot make life’s difficulties disappear. However, it can be a safe space to share and a place to process, problem solve, and gain insight. It can be somewhere to challenge unhealthy ways of thinking that might be holding you back and a path to learn effective coping strategies in managing difficult emotions. As your therapist, I am there to both support you and challenge you.
