I’m a psychologist in private practice in Boulder, CO and I specialize in working with anxiety and depression, and in working with adolescents on all the many issues they tend to face. Life isn’t easy and sometimes we all need a little help getting back on track. As your therapist, I can help you or your teenager overcome sadness, worry and unhappiness and help you to have better, more fulfilling relationships. With help and support, you can overcome the challenges you’re facing and create the life you want. You can feel more optimistic, happier and more engaged in your life.
My goal as a therapist is to help you face challenges more effectively and ultimately, even grow from the difficulties you're facing so that you can embrace who you are and live your life to its fullest. You might have doubts that this is possible, but the truth is that it’s always possible, regardless of how much you are suffering.
My style is collaborative and holistic, whether I work with you or your teenager. We work together to decide on a plan to help overcome your problems and then reassess as we go to make sure you or your child feel good about your progress and the approach we’re using. I have training and experience in a number of clinically validated approaches to therapy and I usually combine several of them so that you will receive therapy that is specifically tailored to your needs. The goal is to figure out what will work best for you.
