As a PhD degree in Counselor Education, Marriage and Family Therapy, I am dedicated to improving the lives of families and individuals affected by ADHD and other diagnosis. It would be a honor to be selected as your counselor. I encourage the use of solution focused therapeutic interventions to support the extended family of special needs individuals and offer ways to address the complex life dynamics most people deal with on a daily basis. Sessions are 50 minutes @ $180 each and documentation/records are available for $153.
While there are some well-designed behavior modifications, my goal is to assist you by helping to facilitate the changes you need to embrace in order to become your best self. With the completion of this doctoral degree, I have had been blessed with the ability to conduct research to expand the knowledge of ADHD. My research is about the effect of having a child with an ADHD diagnosis and will further the understanding of the disorder in multiple ways. Treatment efficacy will be explored, as well as school and workplace accommodations. My dissertation addresses social stigma and discrimination, along with identifying the impact of ADHD on both the individual with the diagnosis and their family.
I maintain an ACA membership, NCC certificate, and LMHC with a Masters degree in counseling. Having attended the Evolution of Psychotherapy, I am a Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International member, and have been on the International Registry of Counselor Education Programs (IRCEP) steering committee, developed by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

As a single Christian mother of four gifted children, three with an ADHD diagnosis, I find my life work to be an excellent financial and time investment, providing our world with the very best research and awareness about ADHD and ways to strengthen the individual and family unit.
