A Journey Through Coping LLC, is a mental and behavioral health practice that works with individuals, families, couples, and groups to provide therapy, coaching, support and guidance. The goal is to encourage self-determination in those who are feeling lost, unsure, or seeking more out of life to find their inner strength, and to gain an understanding on how to heal and grow, and/or find direction and purpose.

I like working with people and watching them discover their true selves. I have been in the mental health field for over 10 years. I graduated with my Master’s in social work in 2008. I specialize in ages 6 and up who are struggling with an array of symptoms. To see a list of symptoms click here.


I have a client-centered direct approach. In my experience, most people who are ready for the therapeutic process and ready to make changes in their lives appreciate this type of approach. I do know that therapy can be scary and one of the toughest life decisions. During our first session we will discuss where you are at in the therapeutic process and chose an approach that will work best for you.

I prefer to coach, guide, and educate individuals so that they can learn how to make healthy, realistic, empowering decisions on their own. I believe in treating the mind and body. This is why I incorporate yoga and meditation into my practice. They are coping skills that we can use to guide and anchor us that have scientific research behind the effectiveness. This is also why I incorporate art, music, games, educational videos, and other materials into the therapeutic process.
