My approach is supportive, respectful and collaborative. I begin therapy with reflective listening to understand what’s causing feelings of distress, anxiety, depression, or hopelessness. Together we will discover how your past is affecting your life now. We will identify your natural strengths and abilities and how these traits can help you overcome self-sabotaging ways of thinking, feeling, and acting.
I work with people who need help with relationships, dysfunctional behaviors, anxiety and stress, depression, life transition, and general frustration with work and life. I will help you find deeper meaning through self-exploration and insight, which can lead to life-changing attitudes, greater satisfaction and a more joyful life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and a Distance Credentialed Counselor. I have been in private practice for 10 years and a Distance Credentialed Counselor for two years.
