Hi! I am Evan Woodall, Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist serving Rockwall, Texas and surrounding communities. I have many years of experience counseling young children and their families, working with child development, and parent coaching and education. I provide counseling for children and families who may have experienced trauma, bullying, behavioral issues, developmental delays, learning disabilities, grief and loss, among other things that can influence the interactions within the whole family. Play therapy and developmentally appropriate activities are often used in counseling sessions with both children and families. Evening and weekend counseling appointments are available.
Through the years I’ve been counseling families, I have realized that sometimes parents find it nice to have some guidance or coaching through troubling times with their children. Perhaps, you would like to know if your child’s behavior is age appropriate or if you should be concerned; then parent education might be what you are looking for. I will meet with you to discuss child development, specifically related to your concerns to provide you guidance or help point you in the right direction.
My goal is to have the family living and working together as a functional unit. Whether it’s counseling or guidance, I am here to help!
