About

If you or your child have suffered from grief, trauma, loss, anxiety, or depression, you have come to the right place. Our mission is to empower individuals, teens, children, and families to reach emotional restoration, while providing the tools to maintain emotional health long after our counseling services are complete.

Counseling techniques are tailored to the needs, developmental stage, and abilities of the individual. This includes specialized experience and utilization of play therapy techniques for children as young as age 3 (effective for grief/loss, trauma, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression), special training in educating and providing therapy for traumatized, stressed, grieved, or anxious adolescents, as well as experience in working towards healing the parent-child relationship. Women that have been affected by grief/loss, anxiety, stress or trauma can find relief through our specialized trauma therapy techniques. Our provider also provides social-emotional assessments for children as young as 12 months(through age 4), which results in parent-coaching specific for the child’s needs, to help prevent emotional difficulties down the road. This is beneficial for children that have experienced trauma or change at a young age including: NICU babies, adoptions, divorce, and chronically ill or medically needy children. We promote a partnership relationship with the therapist and client (or therapist and parent for young children), giving the client/parent an active role in creating goals and making positive changes.

Please see our website for more information or email: info@hoperestoredtampa.com . Taking that step to start getting better can sometimes be the hardest part. You can do this!
