About
I am the founder and director of Concepts of Truth, Inc., a non-profit professional counseling center and National Helpline for Abortion Recovery. I am a member of the Arkansas Mental Health Counselors Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. I have been married since 1974, have three children and one grandchild. I use an integrated theoretical approach in therapy with creativity in interventions to help you meet your goals.
My practice includes working individuals or groups with personal and/or relational needs in the clinical, church, school/out patient setting with face to face or distance counseling. I supervise LAC's (individual or group setting) face to face and through technology-assisted methods. I am available for speaking and consulting in areas pertaining to counseling and psychology. I have presented educational sessions on grief and loss at national conferences and parallel events at the United Nations.
I only offer counseling services to individuals who reside in the state of Arkansas where I am licensed. Whether you are in person or online, setting up a free Hushmail account will allow us to communicate confidentially. Depending on your situation, I may require an initial in-person session before we get started online. Online arrangements may be made for video, chat, or email. Typical face to face therapy sessions last approximately one hour. I am here to listen and help you engage in solutions that work. I will help you identify the problem, set goals and guide you through treatment. The ultimate goal of therapy is to help you find peace and contentment and continue on your journey of life.
