About
I am licensed psychotherapist, specializing in providing behavioral support to individuals who have a longing and/or need for personal growth and development. I work best with individual and families who have a real desire to understand, accept, and make changes in their own behaviors to improve the quality of their interpersonal and family relationships. I have a strong background providing behavioral health or counseling services to "troubled" adolescents, families in conflict, and to physical and sexual abuse survivors. I also provide support groups for clients with eating disorders, individuals struggling with loneliness, low self esteem/unworthiness, and I am open to developing other groups as needed. My goal is to help each client and/or family achieve emotional wellness. I use family systems and mindfulness techniques to help them develop insight about values, beliefs, and habits that affect their relationships. I partner with my client(s) to help them develop healthier habits to cope with life's inevitable challenges.
