Services offered include counseling for adults, adolescents, and couples using eclectic therapy approaches. Among approaches for individuals, I use psychotherapy, art therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I practice trauma-informed counseling and crises intervention counseling.

Education
Erin Brindle, LPC, ATR-BC, LPCAT, MA, is a skilled clinician having garnered 12 years of clinical experience from the inpatient adult psychiatric unit at Sibley Memorial Hospital. Ms. Brindle has led therapeutic and expressive art therapy groups and movement groups of 2-50 people. Specialty areas include assisting in coping with grief and loss by creating memorials for the grieved family member and in support groups, a memory project called the “Pictures in a Box” for people suffering with memory loss and their caregivers, and a support group for women suffering with Post-Partum Depression. She is trained in The HEART Trauma Counseling Model to help persons who have experienced personal or sexual trauma.
Ms. Brindle earned Masters Level training in Special Education and 3 years of classroom teaching experience with kids identified with learning disabilities- Autism, Expressive Disorders, ADD, and at risk behaviors at Kennedy Krieger Institute and Kingsbury Day School.
Ms. Brindle lectured at National Burn Conference and Arts and Humanities Conference in Beijing, China (2008). Ms. Brindle earned a graduate degree of Art Therapy from The George Washington University.
