Shana assists clients in tackling all forms of anxiety, trauma, depression, and stress permeating all aspects of a client's life-individual and interpersonal by offering a highly personalized approach tailored to each of her clients in order to help them achieve their personal growth. Shana works successfully with improving self-esteem in children, adolescents and adults.
With children, Shana implements and integrates play and sandtray therapy to facilitate and increase the child’s confidence inside and outside of therapy.
For adolescents who commonly experience social anxiety, personal doubts, and hardships, Shana creates a warm and self-honoring environment that increases in the adolescents their ability to develop positive tools to navigate through their challenges and fears.
In counseling adults who face the many stressors of life, Shana helps them navigate anxieties and stressors impacting internal and interpersonal relationships. One family counseling client commented that “initially, we were going to divorce; and, after working with you, we now inspire each other to grow.”
Shana works closely with veterans and personnel on active duty, as well as with civilians. She meets her clients by tailoring treatment to suit the unique and special needs of each client, offering a strengths-based approach and cognitive behavioral therapeutic techniques to increase the individual client’s abilities to cope and advance personal resilience.
