As a 29 year plus survivor of a survivor of domestic violence I have helped many of my clients through some trying times. I graduated from IU Indianapolis with an emphasis in mental health and addiction. I worked in SATS at the Indianapolis VA, doing addiction assessments and counseling. I have years of experience working with families in need from; assessments for Family Services. Court assessments, Probation assessment as well as individual and group therapy.
I am no stranger to the military way of life. I have lived on a Marine base from a young age and raised my children on a Marine base. I have been through many deployments myself as a dependent and then had my two oldest children deploy and return 100% injured.
I fully understand military life, challenges, moves, and issues. I also work in the area of addiction and family mediation.
Moving out of the corporate world and working in the nonprofit world after my children's injuries has been a blessing and something I love to do.
I received my undergraduate from Ball State with a BS in Psychology and a BS Criminal Justice, I then went to IU for a Masters in Social Work specializing in Mental health and Addiction.
