About
I believe that people have the innate capacity for change and the ability to become their best person possible. In life we are often dealt circumstances that are beyond our understanding and personal control. Many of these experience distort our perception of who we truly are and lead us astray. We become disconnected and disillusioned, often seeking comfort in people and things that are not consistent with our authentic self. We end up in a vicious cycle that is overwhelming and confusing. My role is to collaborate with you in exploring your past and helping you to reconnect with your genuine character. Just as we are all individuals, I believe therapy should never be "one size fits all." Instead I use a number of modalities and theories to tap into each person's creativity and strengths. I believe in creating a safe space in which each person feels comfortable enough to work and grow. I am also trained as a Whole Health Educator and incorporate holistic perspectives in my work. My work experience includes those experiencing abusive relationships, grief and loss, chronic mental health issues, LGBTQIA+, and women's issues. I enjoy working with all people and specialize in working with adolescents and women. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you and wish you well upon your journey of growth and healing.
